Description:   Opened: 2004-02-15 18:18 0000
The built-in gnuplot help mentions several files which are missing from
gentoo's gnuplot install. I've seen these files (and used them) in other
gnuplot installs, perhaps only on RedHat. The missing files are *very* helpful
for creating postscript plots (if, for example, you want to print or include
your plots in a LaTeX doc).

The following files should be available in gnuplots docs/psdoc subdir. gentoo
doesn't even have such a subdir under /usr/share/doc/gnuplot-FOO, and I think
that would be a good first step.

ps_symbols.ps
ps_guide.ps
ps_file.doc
ps_fontfile_doc.tex

I have not yet managed to find the same info in the .pdf file that is included
under /usr/share/doc/gnuplot-FOO.
