For those of us without the full Gnome desktop, it's still nice to be able to run Palimplest. However, it now uses icons that are in the x11-themes/gnome-icon-theme-symbolic pack. It would be convenient of gnome-disk-utility pulled this in as a dependency. Without these icons, the following errors pop out on the commandline, and all the action icons are "broken": (palimpsest:9003): Palimpsest-WARNING **: Error lookup up icon user-bookmarks-symbolic (palimpsest:9003): Palimpsest-WARNING **: Error lookup up icon media-playback-start-symbolic (palimpsest:9003): Palimpsest-WARNING **: Error lookup up icon user-bookmarks-symbolic (palimpsest:9003): Palimpsest-WARNING **: Error lookup up icon media-playback-start-symbolic (palimpsest:9003): Palimpsest-WARNING **: Error lookup up icon user-bookmarks-symbolic (palimpsest:9003): Palimpsest-WARNING **: Error lookup up icon media-playback-start-symbolic (palimpsest:9003): Palimpsest-WARNING **: Error lookup up icon user-bookmarks-symbolic With that package installed, the errors disappear and all the useful icons appear.
Fixed, thanks for reporting. > 05 May 2012; Alexandre Rostovtsev <tetromino@gentoo.org> > gnome-disk-utility-3.4.0.ebuild, gnome-disk-utility-3.4.1.ebuild: > Add missing gnome-icon-theme-symbolic dependency (bug #414619, thanks to Jim > Ramsay (lack)).
