Hiya, Just a quick note, libreoffice-bin requires icu < 49: $ libreoffice /usr/lib64/libreoffice/program/soffice.bin: error while loading shared libraries: libicuuc.so.48: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory let me know if you need any additional information...
Well i would say it is by-design :)
Yeah, sorry, what I meant is, the ebuild should depend on icu < 49... 5;)
(In reply to comment #1) > Well i would say it is by-design :) Do you know when will app-office/libreoffice-bin use ICU 49?

Stabilization of dev-libs/icu-49.1.1 will now occur in security bug #394201. I suggest that app-office/libreoffice-bin-3.5.3.2 use =dev-libs/icu-49*.

Well, the dependency on ~dev-libs/icu-4.8.1.1 is added now. Re-spinning the binpackages, well, yeah. Soon. Maybe without the debug info, I dont want to upload 6Gbyte again...

(In reply to comment #8) > New binpackages for x86 are up app-office/libreoffice-bin-3.5.2.2-r1 contains dependency on ">=dev-libs/icu-49.1.1-r1". It should be changed to "=dev-libs/icu-49*", since app-office/libreoffice-bin-3.5.2.2-r1 won't work with =dev-libs/icu-50*.

We'll cross that bridge when we see it on the horizon. Slow down please.
