wicd doesn't connect to wpa wireless network. I suspect the reason is that it doesn't save the wpa-passphrase entered in the gui (ncurses doesn't work either).

This is a known issue that should be fixed in 1.7.2.3. So, I guess just a version bump is needed.

I have a version-bumped ebuild in my repo, if anyone's interested. It's working for me.

Sorry, I did not learn about this for two days.  I bumped to 1.7.2.3. now.
Please reopen if you still have this problem.
