Upstream tarball ( http://git.sysphere.org/vicious/snapshot/vicious-2.0.4.tar.gz ) is re-generated automatically, so I suggest mirroring it on Gentoo mirrors (as it was done by wired@g.org for previous releases)
Agree. The update would also allow to get rid of version restriction in ebuild since it works fine with awesome-9999: RDEPEND="=x11-wm/awesome-3.4*"
Hello, as Arvydas mentioned v2.0.4 supports stable 3.4 and unstable master branch of awesome. I maintain git.sysphere.org, and recently developers of other GNU/Linux distributions had some trouble with automatically generated tarballs. Gzip mtime field was breaking digests[1].
