Description Marcus Spading 2012-04-02 15:16:58 UTC
I recently experienced segfaults of app-text/zathura when both
app-text/zathura-pdf-poppler and app-text/zathura-ps are installed at the
same time.

Investigating this further lead me to the corresponding bug in debian [1]
and ultimatly to the underlying cause in ghostscript [2], which also
contains a patch that seems to fix the problem.

upstream fix

This patch fixes the crashes for me.
Comment 4 Marcus Spading 2012-05-09 10:35:58 UTC
As the patch wasn't applied in the -r1, the crashs are still 100% reproducible in that release too.

Thanks for the reminder, I'll take care of it later today.

Fixed in ghostscript-gpl-9.05-r2, again thanks for reporting, finding the root cause and providing the patch!
