Description hiyuh 2012-03-30 02:31:09 UTC
ssia.

some ppc boxes have radeon cards.
if radeon cards are used, media-libs/mesa-8.0.2 said,
 * Note that in order to have full S3TC support, it is necessary to install
 * media-libs/libtxc_dxtn as well. This may be necessary to get nice
 * textures in some apps, and some others even require this to run.

but media-libs/libtxc_dxtn-1.0.1 is not ppc keyworded.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge =media-libs/libtxc_dxtn-1.0.1
Actual Results:
fail

Expected Results:
win

Comment 1 hiyuh 2012-03-30 02:33:31 UTC
using /etc/portage/package.keywords, it looks no problem to emerge.
but i'm not sure this package is really required on ppc boxes.

For the s3tc gl extension, it is.

Added ~ppc ~ppc64 keywords per user report. Thanks!
