build.log

I had problem to compile ghostscript. The error message in build.log pointed to freetype. No issues reported by "revdep-rebuild -i" at the moment.

[ebuild U ] media-libs/freetype-2.4.9 [2.3.9-r1] USE="X bzip2%* -auto-hinter% -bindist -debug -doc -fontforge -static-libs% -utils" 0 kB

After freetype upgrade, I could compile ghostscript. I see its ebuild does not require any specific freetype version. Maybe time to do that? I do not know whether >=media-libs/freetype-2.4 would be enough, I can only say that media-libs/freetype-2.4.9 is OK. Am on amd64 (stable).

In this case, this is already fixed in ebuild for ghostscript-gpl-9.05 which will stabilize sooner or later. I'd check ~arch before filing minor bugs like this.

Fixed the obsolete versions anyway. Thanks for reporting.

Thanks. I did bother to look into that specific ebuild, but on a machine with portage tree synced as of yesterday. :)
