Not touched since inclusion into tree, no bugs. Please stabilize.
Archtested on x86: Everything OK. Compiles without errors, tests ran successfully and basic functionality tested.
configure fails for me when building with USE="static acl" on x86 Other than that, everything looks good.

It exists in 3.0.8 (stable) as well, so it's not a blocker for stabilisation of 3.0.9.

amd64; USE=static fails configure too.
amd64 -ok (builds on mixed tree hardened machine fine with gcc-4.7:hardened and USE static)
