Although I have an English KDE 3.1.5 (without any i18n packages installed on my system), I noticed, that the description of kaffeine in KDE's application menu is in German.

Obviously it's the fault of /usr/share/applnk/Multimedia/kaffeine.desktop in which GenericName is the same as GenericName[de]=Ein xine-basierender Media Player.

I guess it's not really the ebuild's (but the kaffeine people's) fault - however i'd be nice if the ebuild could take care of replacing the GenericName with an English description like "a xine based media player".

Thanks for catching this- it's been fixed in 0.4.1, and now a fix is In CVS for 0.4.
