No, it doesn't solve the problem. Should I file a new bug report for the php patch download problem (distrusted certificate)?

Comment 3 Ole Markus With (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2012-02-26 18:17:50 UTC
What version of ca-certificates do you run?
Comment 4 Attila Stehr 2012-02-26 21:49:12 UTC
$ eix ca-certificates
* app-misc/ca-certificates
     Available versions:  20090709 (~)20110421 (~)20110502 20110502-r1 (~)20110502-r2 (~)20110502-r3 (~)20110502-r4 20111025
     Installed versions:  Version: 20111025
                          Date:    18:29:19 30.10.2011
     Best versions/slot:  20111025
     Homepage:            http://packages.debian.org/sid/ca-certificates
     Description: Common CA Certificates PEM files
     License:             MPL-1.1

Then I did a manual update (downloaded ca-certificates and so on) but that didn't help either.
In the end I downloaded the patch an put it into my distfiles folder... :(
Comment 5 William T Wilson 2012-03-05 23:58:43 UTC
I have the same problem as Attila with with fully updated ~x86 and ~amd64. My version of ca-certificates on both systems is:
# equery l ca-certificates
 * Searching for ca-certificates ...
[IP-] [  ] app-misc/ca-certificates-20111025:0

I manually ran update-ca-certificates but still experienced the problem.

However, I was able to validate the certificate by accessing the barelysufficient.org site with Firefox. So like Attila I was forced to manually download the file and put it in distfiles and then I can install php.

Jeroen, do you know what certificate you have that enables this to work and where you got it? It should be added to ca-certificates.
Comment 6 Ole Markus With (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2012-03-06 07:53:38 UTC
I'll move the patchsets to devspace to avoid this problem.
Comment 7 Ole Markus With (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2012-03-06 08:06:32 UTC
Moved. Resync portage in a while and check if you still have fetch issues.
Comment 8 Michael Brakemeier 2012-03-06 17:27:43 UTC
Problem still exists...

Forget my last comment, the last try to sync a minute ago resolved the problem.
Thanks.
