Created attachment 303167 [details] build.log media-libs/mlt-0.5.10 fails to compile against ffmpeg-0.10
we'll go for stabilising 0.7.6-r1, which is 0.7.6 with the reported bugs fixed and a revision bump for ~arch users.
amd64; all looks ok
in src_configure there is a sed without die, and since is EAPI=4 emake and other portage helpers in src_install autodie, no need to add it. i've tried kdenlive but i get "Fatal Error: MLT's SDL module not found Please check your MLT install. Kdenlive will not work until this issue is fixed". mlt is already compiled with use flag sdl active.
(In reply to comment #3) > i've tried kdenlive but i get "Fatal Error: MLT's SDL module not found > Please check your MLT install. Kdenlive will not work until this issue is > fixed". mlt is already compiled with use flag sdl active. and with ~arch kdenlive ?
(In reply to comment #4) > and with ~arch kdenlive ? no, with kdenlive-0.7.8, testing the reverse dependencies are done only with already stable packages afaik
(In reply to comment #5) > (In reply to comment #4) > > and with ~arch kdenlive ? > > no, with kdenlive-0.7.8, testing the reverse dependencies are done only with > already stable packages afaik hence the 'and' asking if this is also the case with ~arch, aka 0.8.2.1 :)
0.8.2.1 works fine regarding this issue

(In reply to comment #9) > So the target is 0.8.2.1? If so please change the title mlt target didnt change, for kdenlive, see bug #407149
