Description Rafael C. Gawenda 2004-02-02 10:55:43 UTC
I run under a UID/GID 0, named ais/ais, while keeping root under this entry, with login disabled. mirrorselect wants your loginname to be root, instead of what it *really* requires, that is, your UID = 0

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Create a user and group with ID/GID of 0, before any onther lines in
2./etc/passwd,group,shadow, asign a password, login with this account
3.(Take care, you're real root), run mirrorselect

Actual Results:
It just gave me an ancient and classic error message.

Expected Results:
Do the correct check, and continue

resolved in 0.82-r3.
