Hi!

Henplus is a great SQL shell written in java which connects to all databases for which you can get JDBC drivers. It offers command history, tab completion, multiple sessions and is extensible through plugins. 

I've build a simple ebuild for it and would be glad if it could be included.

I would suggest dev-db, but you will probably know where it should be homed.

Ive just updated from the ebuild i've initially done to that one which is in
portage now. 

The script to start henplus is not installed by the version in portage.

It was installed into /usr/bin/henplus - now it is gone. 

There might be some reason behind this, but henplus is not usable that way.

The author stated that there is a ant target for this: ant install.

patch works on henplus bin shellscript from original tarball but doesn't work
when copied to portage tree and emerged

I created a new patch, so that the readline functionality of henplus actually
works. this definitely is important for henplus usability, so plz create a new
ebuild for it.
