Initial motivation is to get a version >=3.4.10.907-r1 stable on alpha. While other arches have 3.4.16 stable, bug #381089 prevented that to happen on alpha, see <https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=369409#c18>. So the idea is to move all arches beyond 3.4.16 now.
amd64 stable
x86 stable
Are we allowed to mark it? The ebuild suggests that we shouldn't. ppc and ppc64 should go stable in any case, the stable doesn't work with 3.0+ kernels.
(In reply to comment #3) > The ebuild suggests that we shouldn't. Please elaborate.
From the ebuild: # Please don't touch individual KEYWORDS. Since this is maintained/tested by # Release Engineering, it's easier for us to deal with all arches at once. If that doesn't apply here, that's fine, I just wanted to check and make sure!
