When trying to connect to some remote host only VNC can be selected as Protocol. However, RDP and SSH plugins are enabled during the build process and compiled/installed successfully. Expected results: RDP and SSH should show up as valid Protocols when trying to connect. This issue has also been reported upstream and a fix is in git-master. Anyways, i think the fix should also be applied to the current version in portage. As the fix also gets rid of libtool-things and simply links in those vinagre plugins, that might be interesting, as well.
Created attachment 295927 [details, diff] Modified vinagre-3.2.1-implicit-function-declarations.patch Applying the patch from upstream makes the vinagre-3.2.1-implicit-function-declarations.patch to not apply cleanly anymore. The attached modified patch works again. However, i know very little about autotools and friends, so double check my changes.
Thanks, I've added vinagre-3.2.2.ebuild with the patch from git master that fixes rdp and ssh, and with an updated version of the implicit function declarations patch (submitted upstream at https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=660531). >*vinagre-3.2.2 (17 Dec 2011) > > 17 Dec 2011; Alexandre Rostovtsev <tetromino@gentoo.org> > +vinagre-3.2.2.ebuild: > Version bump.
