I just tried to emerge e4rat-0.2.1 on a mostly-stable amd64 system, but hit a CMake failure because the installed boost version is too old. The ebuild has a typo (hardcore rather than hardcode, for the boost version check sed in src_prepare), but the problem seems to be that the sed in src_prepare replaces the version check for 1.41 with 1.47. I can successfully build and install e4rat without that sed, although I have not tested the resulting binary. emerge --info and build log follows.
