Latest Transcode 0.6.12 lacks PVM cluster support, used to distribute encoding across several PCs.

might want to add the following to the ebuild also
and yes this did bug did bite me

# dont strip binarys causes missing symbol problems
# with pvm compiles
RESTRICT="nostrip"

please check out bug #65170 for a ebuild that includes this functionality
if you can test and comment on it on that bug
