Fix handling of the -MD and -MDD options

This affects programs that generate .o targets with leading path, for example git. The bug is fixed in 3.x (commit e8354384 attached) but all 3.x ebuilds are not stable, at least in x86.

Maybe we could backport this patch to 2.4, or stablize one of 3.x ebuilds? I cherry-pick the patch to 2.4 and it seems to work fine.

backporting is a waste of time.  i'm not aware of any regressions in ccache-3.x, so if Robin has no qualms, i say we stabilize 3.1.6.
