Description i.Dark_Templar 2011-11-05 16:26:50 UTC
net-print/hplip installs following files:

# equery f hplip | grep "/usr/share/hal"
/usr/share/hal
/usr/share/hal/fdi
/usr/share/hal/fdi/preprobe
/usr/share/hal/fdi/preprobe/10osvendor
/usr/share/hal/fdi/preprobe/10osvendor/20-hplip-devices.fdi

this files are totally useless because there is even no Hal in portage tree anymore.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge net-print/hplip

Actual Results:
See garbage files.

Expected Results:
Should have no garbage files.

This bug appears at least with following USE-flags for net-print/hplip-3.11.10: "-* X acl hpcups kde policykit qt4", probably with other flag sets too.

While I think there are more important things than this, I will take a look at it.
