you can use workaround from attached ebuild:
sed -i "s/lightdm-session//" "${S}"/tests/src/Makefile || die

compiled & works fine

I don't see the reason to rush on that. They do frequent releases and the 1.1.1 seems to have a lot of bug fixes. It should be out pretty soon I guess

Bumped but I did not add your init script. I see no reason for that. Every login manager uses xdm's init script. Thanks for the ebuild though
