Description Erik Quaeghebeur 2011-10-07 17:10:16 UTC
After installing sys-apps/pcsc-lite (first 1.7.2-r1, then stable 1.6.6), the included pcscd would not start due to a configuration file/directory being missing (see http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-p-6834942.html for output).

Adding a configuration directory /etc/reader.conf.d to /etc resolved the issue.
I found out about this directory on another, similar gentoo system of mine on which I had installed pcsc-lite back in november/december, so I guess this may be a problem in more recent ebuild.

Reproducible: Always

Thanks Erik, this is now fixed.

@Prefix: I want to see the changes next time you play with pcsc-lite. This was _bad_, it had me using `repoman --force` to commit, and I'm even less happy than it.
