Description Pacho Ramos gentoo-dev 2011-09-24 14:54:22 UTC
I really would like to see this stabilized soon as it solves umount -l stalls, but probably bug 375165 needs to be fixed first. Apart of that, the rest looks to work ok for me

USE=loop-aes doesn't affect anything

should be an easy stabilization

+  11 Nov 2011; Tony Vroon <chainsaw@gentoo.org> util-linux-2.19.1-r1.ebuild:
+ Marked stable on AMD64 based on arch testing by Ian "idella4" Delaney &
+ Agostino "ago" Sarubbo in bug #384305.
Comment 10 Felix Tiede 2011-11-12 05:50:14 UTC
This is NOT working with USE=loop-aes and should NOT be stable as long as that USE-flag can be set.

Tbh: Seeing this stable on amd64 (hardened and non-hardened) with open bug #375165 about the incorporated patch (bug #370051) and USE=loop-aes makes me a little wary about QA. Esp. since that bug has been open two months before this STABLEREQ was placed AND is even mentioned in the initial report.
Comment 11 SpanKY gentoo-dev 2011-11-12 19:07:04 UTC
USE=loop-aes is not a blocker for anything. never has and never will. this is also not the place to complain about it.
