Just found out why after boot sometime computer has no valid dns. The openresolv is configured to store interface information at /var/lib/run and not at /var/run. So interface data is not cleaned after boot. This is caused as --rundir defaults to --localstatedir while econf (correctly) pass /var/lib to --localstatedir. To fix simply use --rundir=/var/run at econf.

What happened to "Gentoo Linux bug wranglers"?
(In reply to comment #2) We have lives too. :)

lack?
flameyes, can you please look into this? It affect almost anyone. Thanks!
Is openresolv is unmaintained?
Sorry for the long delay - I don't use openresolv any more and have fallen behind on my bug queue (life gets in the way, you know!) Fixed in revbump. Please keep bugging me in the future if there are more issues you need fixed. I can't promise I'll be fast, but I can promise I'll eventually address things :)
