Hi, thanks for the report!

I track filezilla releases RSS, so I saw this one, but I usually do not add rc to the tree, unless it fixes or add an important feature. Is it the case here? I did not see anything worth it in the release notes

thanks you for your replying. its pitty that only final or "important" releases will find the way into portage.

i see there is a good argument, but any release solve some bugs. and for some people this bug fixes are more important than other. and FZ dont make to lot of rc in the meanwhile, that it could take too much of work.

in my oppinion portage is is great because of its working on actuallity and stability of packages repository. so maybe we should spend attention for any improvement.

final 3.5.1 released

And in portage now :)

As for other releases, as I said, -rc which are worth it (new features or important bug fixes) will get quickly in tree if I am around. For the other ones, the ebuild can usually simply be renamed in an overlay to test
