Description Alexandre Rostovtsev (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2011-08-06 06:59:29 UTC
In gnome3, there will be two slots of ghex: ghex:2 (providing the gtk2-based libgtkhex) and ghex:3 (providing the gtk3-based libgtkhex-3).

To ensure that people using nemiver get the correct slot pulled in once gnome3 hits portage, please change the ghex dependency in nemiver's RDEPEND from

memoryview? ( >=app-editors/ghex-2.22 )

to

memoryview? ( >=app-editors/ghex-2.22:2 )

@gnome,

Does anyone want to take care of Nemiver? I haven't touched in months, if not years.

I'll put it on maintainer-needed if no one wants it.

Cheers

I've been bumping it on occasion but lack time to do anything right now.

-> I don't have much interest on it either, I would move it to maintainer-needed and ask in gentoo-dev for volunteers to maintain it
