Ebuilds for actively developed software with unversioned SRC_URIs are unacceptable. Every time upstream decides to fix a spelling mistake in a css file, that .zip will change, and Gentoo users will get digest verification failures. Either some Gentoo developer needs to volunteer for the duty of monitoring upstream development and mirroring the .zip files in versioned form in his personal webspace, or upstream needs to find a more professional way of hosting their files.
