I don't know usage of this. Is enough compile test?

If you have more than one box/VM you can try to test as described here:

No, I haven't. Only compile test is ok for me.

fwiw, we have been using it in production for a small server:

# uname -rm
2.6.39-gentoo-r3 x86_64
# drbdadm status | grep version
<drbd-status version="8.3.10" api="88">

amd64 emerges ok

Builds fine on x86. Only compile tested.
