Current stable is old and broken, this one looks to work better for me:
dev-libs/librep-0.90.6
x11-libs/rep-gtk-0.90.3
x11-wm/sawfish-1.6.3

Reproducible: Always

rep-gtk installs:

I didn't see use static/static-libs...is expexted?

I think it's not a regression over current stable. We can add "static-libs" USE flag for the next bump anyway

attempted logging out in into sawfish, corrupted everything.
Had to unmerge it to get back to a sane WM.

You want I re-emerge and re-attempt?
