Description Ladislav Laska 2011-07-23 13:31:15 UTC
I've been installing new xbmc (multimedia station) system and foiiund out, that mesa-7.10.3 won't install, since it's missing bison (configure script complains about it, sorry for not having exact message). The dependency was not pulled in.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Try to install mesa on system, where bison is not installed.
Actual Results:
Mesa's configure script fails.

Expected Results:
Ebuild for mesa should list bison as a dependency (or some other dependency of mesa should)

This was found out on clean setup, just unpacked most recent stage3 (with most recent portage tree), and after installing very few, very basic packages (like vim, smartmontool, screen, grub, gentoo-source, alsa-{utils,lib}). Nothing else was installed. Installing bison manually resolved the problem.

It was probably missed in bug 375793. Fixed in CVS.
