pekwm version 0.1.13 has been out for a while.
See attached file for unified diff against portage's 0.1.12 ebuild.

In particular, this version adds support for setting NET_WM_WINDOW_OPACITY hints (via the "transparency" flag in this ebuild), which enables windows transparencies when running under a composite manager that supports them (eg: xcompmgr). This local use-flag needs be documented in use.local.desc, maybe this could do?

x11-wm/pekwm:transparency - Enable setting window opacity hinting (transparency) when running alongside a composite manager such as xcompmgr
