True happens here too. Not really on every time a windows is created. It happens mostly when logging out from kde or when opening yakuake for the first time from time to time. This is an upstream bug, not a gentoo fault.
Comment 2 Chí-Thanh Christopher Nguyễn gentoo-dev 2011-07-28 18:23:49 UTC
Most likely that is a bug in the X server which is exposed by KDE.

Comment 3 Enrico Tagliavini 2011-07-29 11:10:00 UTC
Likely the case. I saw the this garbage the first time just after xorg 1.10 version bump
Comment 4 Francesco Lamonica 2011-07-29 13:05:23 UTC
It's not exactly as per comment 2 since i see garbage (that always disappears) on every window and menu appearing, but indeed happens only with KDE
Comment 5 Chí-Thanh Christopher Nguyễn gentoo-dev 2011-10-01 23:46:23 UTC
Should be fixed by xorg-server-1.11.1, please reopen if it is not.
Comment 6 Enrico Tagliavini 2011-12-22 18:01:24 UTC
I can confirm it is fixed here with xorg-server-1.11.2-r2

Thank you
