Looks like the gl.po, id.po and et.po files are not valid. msgfmt doesn't create a .mo file, and the "make install" phase then stops.

Not sure though why this comes up now.

Created attachment 278619 [details, diff]
Patch for sys-apps/policycoreutils-2.0.82

Patch on the ebuild to overwrite the {gl,id,et}.po files with a valid .po file (for instance sq.po).

Note that this does effectively nothing on the translations: all "wrong" po files have no content, and the sq.po file doesn't have any either - but it does have a valid header.
Comment 3 Sven Vermeulen 2011-06-29 12:51:17 UTC
In hardened-dev overlay.
Note that the policycoreutils will still fail to install within the python.eclass from the python overlay (there's a fix in there needed as well, see bug #371831)
