libreoffice-bin-3.4.0 installs shortcuts for all applications into the office category as usual. For example, the writer item has as command: libreoffice3.4 --writer %U However, in /usr/bin/, only a file called libreoffice is installed, but not libreoffice3.4. My only active use flags for the package are linguas. Reproducible: Always Actual Results: Commands in applications menu point to nonexistent file.

I have the same problem.... Just rename /usr/bin/libreoffice to /usr/bin/libreoffice3.4 :-)
I can confirm this bug app-office/libreoffice-bin . using kde command to launch writer is libreoffice3.4 --writer %U should be libreoffice --writer %U same thing for all libreoffice launcher base,calc,math... thought this might something to do with kbuildsycoca4 --noincremental turns out no.
