old patch - still with the already commited png chunk

+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #365473 +++

"Fixing" bug 365473 somehow failed to address the more important problems of the initial report and ignored most of the patch I've attached.

So, once again:
Besides bug 256087, a few new issues have arisen:
- package wasn't updated with changes required by gdk-pixbuf split (incorrect loader install path)
- as bug 368329 says, the path for the loader cache in the postinst is incorrect too
- it's pointless to build a static archive for a gdk loader (well, technically '--disable-static' did address it, but putting it here, in case somebody wants to add 'static-libs' useflag)
- perhaps those ghostscript notes in the ebuild could be rechecked

Changing the dep to gdk-pixbuf would move this package into a saner place in portage tree dependency hierarchy.

Most of this stuff fixed in the -r4.

Rafal i was serious about splitting those patch per feature. Not providing all in one nice huge blob.
