The old version of qmidiarp was removed from the portage tree because it was one of the few applications still relying on Qt3. I have successfully installed the new 0.3.9 version without further patching. I suggest the creation of a qmidiarp-0.3.9 ebuild and its incluision in the portage tree as ~amd64 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Get the tar.gz; extract and enter the working directory 2. ./configure; make 3. copy qmidiarp to /usr/local/bin 4. Run Actual Results: Qmidi arp works without any troubles: I've tried the arpegiators and the sequencers; the swing; saving and opening files. A bit confusing: http://sourceforge.net/projects/alsamodular/files/QMidiArp/ 0.0.2 is still latest version. It's the one that got removed from tree. So I guess this is a whole new package, not a restoration of old one from: http://sourceforge.net/projects/qmidiarp/files ?

Dear Samuli, QMidiArp seems to be now an independent project from AMS.
