Works great. x86 stable. Thanks
amd64 stable
I'm sad to say that I'm not sure it makes sense to stabilize this package while bug #294479 is still open. I've recently switched a server from the generic "server" profile to the "hardened/linux/x86" profile and it is impossible to recompile emacs 22 or 23 as the compilation segfaults. I know that the referenced bug was open for the solaris platform, but it is the same (for me at least) on a basic x86 server.

As long as it isn't a regression against the previous stable version, I don't see this as an obstacle for stabilising 23.3.
