Created attachment 269733 [details] output of emerge --info =gnome-extra/evolution-data-server-2.32.2-r1 gnome-extra/evolution-data-server-2.32.2-r1 failed to compile. It is likely because of 009-name-selector-fixes.patch. I unsuccessfully tried to apply this patch myself, trying to fix the following bug: https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=362789 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. CFLAGS="-march=core2 -O1 -ggdb" FEATURES="nostrip" LDFLAGS="" USE="debug" MAKEOPTS="-j5" emerge -1av evolution-data-server (also with MAKEOPTS="-j1") Actual Results: emerge failed Expected Results: emerge should successfully compile the package

It compiles fine for me, what gtk+/glib version do you have installed? It works for me with gtk+-2.24.3 and glib-2.28.5
I'am running (mostly) a stable system, so glib-2.26.1-r1 and gtk+-2.22.1-r1. Now I'am trying on my unstable Notebook (this may take a while on the intel atom), maybe this will work. Never the less some dependencies are unprecise.
Compile works on ~x86 with glib-2.28.5 and gtk+-2.24.3.
