According to the e2fsprogs 1.34 Changlog, it supports both dietlibc ( --with-diet-libc ) and the ability to disable support for evms ( --disable-evms ).  I believe both USE flags (diet and evms) are already in use.desc for other programs, so it should be easy to add in.

Ebuild built to disable evms or enable dietlibc usage.

The USE flag 'evms' is _not_ in use.desc, rather, evms2 is.  So that will have
to be added.

ATT: e2fsprogs can only be built against the ABI of evms-1.2 (and less), NOT agains evms-2.

Even in e2fsprogs-1.35-WIP-1207 binding to evms-2 is not possible, I do not know of any patches.

I know, I was saying the 'evms' USE flag should be added, as I was wrong earlier when I thought it was evms2.

Does e2fsprogs 1.35 build against evms 2?

added dietlibc ... re-open once e2fsprogs supports evms2
