The tree currently has version 1.01 but 1.1 is out.  I compared the two versions and it looks like the author has isolated the entropy algorithm into havegecollect.c and added some better debugging code.  I'm not sure there are any big advances but the code looks cleaner.  It may be worth having both in the tree.

Its as simple as just renaming the ebuild.  I tried it on my overlay.
