Description Dean Matzkov 2011-03-27 03:28:41 UTC
The generic description for the `tdb' USE flag doesn't really offer any insight on what it's supposed to do. Only after digging around in libcanberra's sources, can one figure that out.

Apparently, enabling Trivial Database support for libcanberra enables caching, as per this snippet from configure.ac:

----
# For now, we only support tdb based caching, hence we'll shortcut this here

HAVE_CACHE=$HAVE_TDB
----

Just another bug report in my never-ending quest to help provide more-useful USE flag descriptions.
