xmonad is a dynamically tiling X11 window manager that is written and configured in Haskell. I'll cite comment from bug #297347: > Hi, using the current stable version, 0.8, xmobar exhibits > a bug with unicode characters. See > http://code.google.com/p/xmobar/issues/detail?id=38. > This problem is solved by using xmonad 0.9, but this > is masked. I'd like to vote for stabalisation of 0.9 asap. Ebuilds are in tree more, than a year. We'd like to have stabilization on: * amd64 * x86
The list of packages to stabilize: =x11-wm/xmonad-0.9 =x11-wm/xmonad-contrib-0.9

amd64 done, thanks Agostino I've also added the missing USE deps (mtl, x11 and xmonad need [profile?])
BTW, does anybody going to bump xmonad-0.9.2 into main tree? As I see it avaialable in the haskell overlay for a long time.

Tested on x86, all good here ...
