I'd like to get sylpheed-claws-0.9.7 stable on x86, ppc and sparc (the 
archs that currenty have a stable sc version) for the 2004.0 release. I
took care of x86 myself, but won't touch ppc or sparc. 
To get it stable you need to make >=gettext-12 stable, the old bootstrap
problems should be solved, so unless there are other problems it should be 
good to go.

I've been using gettext 0.12.1 on sparc64 with good success

hmm, no news in two weeks ...

I've been having some trouble building generic stage tarballs, so I haven't had
a chance to try this as well.  I'll let you know when I have more progress.

I'm building test stages now with gettext-0.12, if there aren't any problems
I'll mark it stable when they are done.

gettext-0.12.1 checks out and gettext and sylpheed-claws-0.9.7 are now stable
on sparc

took some time, but now it's fixed :)
