Anki 1.2.7 was released around 4 weeks ago.   I've not actually tried bumping the ebuild myself, but the only changes were minor bug-fixes.  The author is now working on 2.0 so this may be the last 1.2.x release.

Also, the homepage currently listed in the 1.2.6 ebuild just redirects to the current homepage:
