After installing monkeyd my index.html in /home/httpd/htdocs (btw: this should be /var/www/localhost acording to some GLEP) was overwritten. In most cases a user want's to keep her own docroot-contents -- so maybe the docroot should be config-protected by default!? Maybe apache-users have the same problem? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. place your index.html in /home/httpd/htdocs/ 2. emerge monkeyd 3. find your index.html overwritten
not directly related the the problem I reported, but bug #11007 also affects this one -- I'm not sure it should depend on it so I'm making a comment first.
fixed in 0.8.0
