grub-1.99~rc1 was released more than a month ago.  Are there any outstanding issues before it can go in portage, unkeyworded, and replace 1.98?

I am also making an ebuild of my own so could someone tell me how to verify that STRIP_MASK and QA_EXECSTACK (and any other QA control variables) are set correctly and working properly.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.
