it builds well, and it seems to work well too. no weird bug for the moment. i noticed that it was compiled against gkt2, even having USE -gtk2 set.
Comment 4 Jeremy Huddleston (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-01-28 01:48:21 UTC
USE=-gtk2 does not mean 'don't use gtk2' it means 'use gtk1 in favor of gtk2 when both are options'. The gtk2 flag is used by packages that can be compiled against gtk1 and gtk2 to determine which version to use.
Comment 5 Julien Allanos (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-01-28 01:57:02 UTC
i agree with you, but i have to disable the gtk2 USE flag before emerging audacity, because it is known that audacity and gtk2 (and unicode) together don't behave correctly. doing this with audacity-1.1.3 enabled gtk1 style interface, but with this ebuild, the interface uses gtk2.

for future reference, opening a new bug rather than commenting in a closed one is much more likely to get noticed... you're lucky I was paying close attention.
Comment 10 Jeremy Huddleston (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-02-28 11:19:20 UTC
in portage.
