Description Kris Hepler 2011-02-25 03:52:46 UTC
I added the ppc keyword to dev-db/mysql-workbench and it emerged without issue. Can we get a ~ppc keyword in the tree?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. manually add ppc keyword to dev-db/mysql-workbench ebuild
2. emerge dev-db/mysql-workbench
3. dbus-launch mysql-workbench
4. play
Actual Results:
Builds and installs fine.

dev-db/mysql-workbench depends on dev-cpp/ctemplate which also lacks the ppc keyword. Bug 356363 is a request to keyword that package.

Preliminary testing shows only one glaring problem: trying to view table data crashes mysql-workbench with an invalid pointer. Other tasks like managing connections, connecting to a DB, editing an EER diagram, and adding a table all seem to work fine. The problem may be limited to =dev-db/mysql-workbench-5.2.32; I remember that version having tons of issues on x86 as well.

@graaff / @ppc:

Do you wish to keyword the package?

I'll leave this to ppc, they will need to maintain the keyword.

Marked ~ppc. Thanks for reporting that it works!
