I just renamed mod_jk-1.2.30; it runs the build without any modifications.
Created attachment 262683 [details] bumped ebuild (renamed copy of mod_jk-1.2.30.ebuild)
An update to 1.2.31 would be really good. I've just been hit by a bug that duplicates requests (one http request comes from the client, 2 go to the tomcat). This is pretty severe and fixed in 1.2.31 http://tomcat.apache.org/connectors-doc/miscellaneous/changelog.html Can I do anything to help this getting bumped?
> Can I do anything to help this getting bumped? You may already use the provided ebuild. To get a second vote that it's working on Gentoo. And you may confirm (to upstream, too) that the mod_jk-bug you mentioned is fixed.
Tested the bumped ebuild for 1.2.31 and it works fine. I think this should be committed to the portage tree.
Created attachment 281125 [details] mod_jk-1.2.32.ebuild In the meantime 1.2.32 was released and the download URL changed for this release. The attached (bumped) ebuild fixes this.
