The code is not 64bit safe, they cast pointers to int. Try starting a new game, saving it, and then loading it. It doesn't work. That is not a new bug, upstream know it doesn't work. They just didn't implement it yet. So why is it keyworded (stable!) for amd64? If someone wants to run it on amd64, they should keyword it themselves. It's beta anyway, why is it stable in portage?
